PQED: Philosophical Questions Every Day is the official blog of the podcast, Why? Philosophical Discussions About Everyday Life, a project of The Institute for Philosophy in Public Life. The blog is dedicated to the exploration of philosophy in all of its forms, acknowledging that any topic can be philosophical if we ask the right questions. PQED is for everyone, regardless of their expertise or credentials.

radio-alumThe author and keeper of the blog is Director of IPPL, Dr. Jack Russell Weinstein, Chester Fritz Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at the University of North Dakota. He is also the host Why? Radio. 

Jack is the recipient of the 2007 UND Foundation/McDermott Award for Individual Excellence in Teaching, the top teaching award at his UND. He is the author of three books: On Adam Smith and On MacIntyre, both volumes in the Wadsworth Philosophers Series; and Adam Smith’s Pluralism: Rationality, Education, and the Moral Sentiments, from Yale University Press. He received his Ph.D. in philosophy from Boston
